In Stockton, family-run Italian places are busiest on weekend evenings and around holidays, when reservations or call-ahead seating are worth it. BYOB is common at smaller restaurants in some states, with a modest corkage fee or none at all; the listing or a quick call will tell you. Wing-and-pizza shops across California do most of their business by delivery and price wings by the piece or in fixed counts, with sauce heat adjustable on request. Catering trays, party pizzas and sheet pies need a day's notice at most places, and more around big game days.

Was looking for something different for lunch and this place did not disappoint! I had the doughnut burger and holy cow was it delicious! I wanted to try the fries, but glad I didn’t order because after the burger I was stuffed. Fantastic food, the baked goods looked delicious, all the staff was very friendly. Very cool spot. I will definitely stop again next time I’m in town.

The workers and owner genuinely seemed to love what they do, and it showed in how happy they were to serve us. We had no idea what to order, and I brought a friend who was trying Big Worm’s for the first time. They even gave us a free donut to sample, which was such a nice touch. The ube donut was absolutely to die for: super rich in flavor without tasting artificial at all. We also wanted food but weren’t sure what to get, so I asked for a recommendation. The owner suggested the chicken tacos, but then mentioned there’s a secret menu version with birria and adobo flavors mixed in. I was sold. My friend ordered the uso fries and loved it. The food came out quickly, and when it did, our eyes lit up because the portions were HUGE. We came in hungry and left completely full and satisfied. And still with leftovers too because the meals were so filling. Beyond the food, we really loved the conversations we had there. It felt like a true family-owned business that genuinely values the family aspect of what they do. Would absolutely come back :)

Oh my goodness this place is a hidden gem!! We were looking for a good breakfast sandwich and Bigworms did not disappoint! The servings were HUGE and delicious! We were also given an ube donut because the owner noticed my daughter was getting ready to play a softball game and he wanted her to have something good for hydration. Very thoughtful. Definitely recommend Bigworm's!!
